Like a real American

I’ve wanted to watch a live ice hockey game, but it’s too expensive because it’s finals season.  When a guy that I met invited me to watch it at his home, I jumped at the chance.  We watched the New York Rangers take on the New Jersey Devils in the 4th of their 6 matches (yeah it’s confusing), after which the winner will take on the winner of the west in the national grand final.

I brought a mini-keg of Newcastle Brown (a favourite of mine from the UK), which is available in the chemist here!  We had multiple food deliveries – the boys ordered pizza and the girls ordered Mexican.  We sat back and watched the game on a big flat-screen, in the merriment of good company.  We lost the game, but for a moment there, I felt like a real American.  Thanks, Josh & co.

They don’t call it the chemists over there.
